Why the number 5?
This piece of leather luggage has been designed to commemorate Aston Martin's 1st Le Mans win competing with the DBR1 in 1959, this was the last Le Mans triumph by an Aston until June this year 07 when David Brabham won the same race in a DBR9. Car Number 5 was driven by Briton Roy Salvadori and American Carroll Shelby in 1959.
This year 2009 is Aston's 50th anniversary Le Mans victory win.
