Why the number 12?

This was the number on the Ferrari 312T , The first single-seater car from the prancing horse manufacturer to be fitted with a transversal gearbox. A revolutionary car.

Monza Sept 1975, Niki Lauda clinches the Formula 1 Constructors World Championship and Drivers Championship for himself.  He won five Grand Prix and came third at Monza this year. This was Ferraris first championship win in 11 years-on home ground. A true victory all round.

This was the start of Niki Lauda's world titles he clinched three in total.
