The characteristics of our leather is attributed to a tanning process called 'Pit Tannage'. A slow natural process with absolutely no technical support - a recipe handed down from ancient times. The particular smell that the leather exhales is due to the grinding of vegetable tannins whilst the special softness comes from a unique mixture of vegetable and animal fats.
